Description: The women’s association in Kitipo asked for US $1000 to buy agricultural equipment (a cassava grinder, petrol for the machine, and a cassava press). This enables the women to process their cassava into Attiéke, a local dish similar to couscous, which can be sold at a higher market price. This will increase their earnings, allowing them to pay for school fees for their children, seek healthcare when ill, etc. (Updated Dec. 9, 2021)
