What personal information do we collect from you on our website?
We only collect the information necessary and sufficient for us to be able to fulfil our purpose as an organisation, including the purposes outlined below. When registering and/or donating on our site, you will be asked to enter your payment amount, email address, name, date of birth and address.
Why do we collect this information?
We need this information to register you as an official member of our organization and to register the financial contributions you make. We collect your date of birth to make sure you are at least 18 years of age. We collect your email address to send out annual calls for general assembly and very limited additional electronic correspondence about our organization (≤ 5 total emails per year).
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or enter information on our site. We inform you of what information we collect from you and and why we do so at the time you submit this information on our membership signup page.
How do we protect your information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All financial transactions are handled by PayPal and Merkur Bank.
For how long do we store your information?
We store your information only for as long as necessary to be able to fulfil the purposes of our organization, or for as long as it is required by law. We delete your information if it is no longer necessary to fulfil the purposes that constituted the original reason for collecting them.

Objecting against our use of your information
You have the right to object against our use of your information to the national data protection agency.
Do we use 'cookies'?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your PII. We only use your PII internally or when communicating directly with you.
We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.
We do not track the user in any way. This includes third-party behavioral tracking.
Should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email within 7 business days.
