What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?
We only collect the information necessary and sufficient for us to be able to fulfil our purpose as an organisation, including the purposes outlined below. When registering and/or donating on our site, you will be asked to enter your payment amount, email address, name, gender, birth date, address, phone number and personal ID number and -name where applicable.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or enter information on our site. We inform you of what information we collect from you and and why we do so at the time you submit this information on our membership signup page.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register in order to verify your identity as a member/donor, to send out annual calls for general assembly and very limited additional electronic correspondence (≤ 5 total emails per year).
How do we protect your information?
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Accessing and updating your information
You can access and update your information here or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If we come across incorrect information we will contact you via email for clarification. If you are unable to provide correct information where necessary, we may have to cancel your membership.
Deleting your information
You can delete your information here or by sending us an email at email@example.com requesting for your information to be deleted. We may choose to delete information when it is no longer necessary to fulfil the purposes that constituted the original reason for collecting them.
Why do we collect CPR-numbers and other personal ID numbers from EU/EEA residents?
We need to collect this information to become approved for tax credit for our Danish members, and later to be able to apply for this in other countries too. The information submitted will be handled confidentially and in accordance with European regulations for personal data.
Do we use 'cookies'?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.
We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our website.
We do not track the user in any way. This includes third-party behavioral tracking.
Should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email within 7 business days.
