Project: The women applied for funds to buy farming equipment and seeds to expand their plantations and increase their work efficiency and crop yield. They hoped for this not only to increase yield and earnings, but also to free up some valuable time to be better able to assist their children with their schooling, care for their families and take sick family members to the hospital when needed.

Progress: Equipment purchased and in use. Seeds purchased and the group will start planting after the first rains in March. (Updated March 5, 2019).
Outcomes: Machine used for processing cassava (pictured below) has enabled daily production with reduced working time. Further outcomes will be announced along the way. (Updated March 5, 2019).
